A little project

Here is what I saw at a yard sale! I got it for four bucks. Probably would have got it for less, but it was a little OLD guy and you guys know that telling a little old guy in a wheelchair that you want this for TWO is really hard. Now if he had a Jag in the drive I could have done, it but his OLD beat up pickup truck made me even weaker!

So.... having been seeing ALL the different things people are painting and being the proud owner of SEVERAL (nearly empty) cans of white paint I bought it and brought it home.

Here it is after. I bought ($9) a lamp swag kit and am going to rewire it to plug into the wall so I can use it in my spare room above the PINK bed! :D Sadly all the globes were not in good shape so I have to buy (find) some new ones. It may take a bit because I refuse to spend more on globes than the lamp. If I can find the 'candle' sockets to rewire it with all the better.
Now, off to labor away my Labor day.

Hi !!!
I love your chair, will you recover it? I agree about shopping, etc on Sunday and I usually stay home and not shop :)
You have some great finds and now I feel I need to hit the thrift store tomorrow :) I would love to find a chandelier, cheap of course, and a little one to hang somewhere..:)
Warmly, Deb :)

Great job! You know I love pink! If it stands still for to long it's bound to get painted pink by me!

Hey, I heard people use Kool Aid to dye dogs too. Not sure how it works but one day I was at the mall and a lady had a pink dog and she told me that's what she used.

I had to laugh at your remark about what is a 70 lb poodle for if not to dye it colors.

Can't wait to see the pictures.

Hey, I don't have your email to send my address to you. What is it? I can't find it on your blog anywhere.

Hugs,
Joanne
