This is a baby silkie chicken. This one is day old and she will be white when grown. They lack correct 'feathers' so appear to have fur instead. They are adorable. I LOVE them! Right now I have the six I first bought, plus one I names "spare" since he/she was alone at the store a few days later being beaten up by larger birds. Wednesday, April 29, 2009

Love little chicks! I have always wanted raise chickens but just not the time yet I guess.
I am going to be a beekeeper though!!
