I will admit that it has been a long time tradition to go out to eat after church. Mostly because I don't want to cook on Sundays. I want to take my sweet little nap.

Thanks for your good Word!

KJAnonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15167917352305953212noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2197803048609312545.post-3511674547901257752008-09-02T02:18:00.000-04:002008-09-02T02:18:00.000-04:00So glad I happened upon you blog- I saw the title ...So glad I happened upon you blog- I saw the title babystep and wondered if you had been in an FPU class then saw on your profile your mention of Dave Ramsey. My hubby and I facilitate the classes at different churches in the area and they are lifechanging. Am excited to read you blog and see what baby steps you are doing in your home!! I say it takes some real talent to make a beautiful home on a tiny budget- anyone can decorate if they have wads of dough (or more like high credit limits!! I am blessed to know my decorating is debt free!!) :) maryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2197803048609312545.post-1577457222831925472008-08-31T23:08:00.000-04:002008-08-31T23:08:00.000-04:00Blessings...This is so true! All of us are guilty of not honoring the seventh day of rest, when we cause others to have to work...and retail places have to be open, we are not honoring that REST! You are so right!
Here in Mexico, many places are closed but not gas, major retails or restaurants. Many close at 1 pm. and I try to prepare for this or wait for Mon. It is the same here with their focus being on sports on Sunday! That is perhaps more family oriented but not God honoring! Many
miss church for this reason and I'm sure God is saddened by this! A world that thinks of SELF more than
HIM or HIS WORLD! Thank you for sharing this in Spiritual Sunday!

Enjoy your day of rest and a week
now refreshed in Our Lord to serve!Peggyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07178137619890142365noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2197803048609312545.post-17349993294995764002008-08-31T22:36:00.000-04:002008-08-31T22:36:00.000-04:00Hi there,Thanks for stopping by my blog and for yo...Hi there,
Thanks for stopping by my blog and for your sweet comments. Seriously all I did with the floors was vacuum them really really well, prime them and then paint them with Dutch Boy porch paint. No sealant necessary. They are looking great. In fact, I just did my husband's home office floor just like it. I hope that helps.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2197803048609312545.post-60982926653815095642008-08-31T10:48:00.000-04:002008-08-31T10:48:00.000-04:00I have always felt the same, I've had to work a lo...I have always felt the same, I've had to work a lot of Sundays and holidays because people want to shop or eat. I try very hard not to shop on Sunday's. I remember when stores were closed on Sundays, it's a thing of the past. Thanks for the reminder, I enjoyed your post :).

Have a Blessed Sonday!
Kathi :)Kathi~Lavender, Lace and Thymehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08782261786291024562noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2197803048609312545.post-5822747822133024312008-08-31T01:34:00.000-04:002008-08-31T01:34:00.000-04:00Hi,Oh I can't wait to rest this Sunday. Then one by one stores and service stations started staying open. It's sure handy when you need to run to the store for something, but I think it was better in the old days.
Thank you for sharing on spiritual Sundays.
blessings,
CharlotteCharlottehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12533075034458645148noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2197803048609312545.post-60761865385347186722008-08-31T00:59:00.000-04:002008-08-31T00:59:00.000-04:00It is so true! The pay is more on Sunday but the rewards are much better by staying at home and being able to go to church. It makes me sad when I see all of these family's doing sports on Sundays rather than church, and even more why do these soccer teams and other sport directors allow it. Thank-you for such a great post this week.

God Bless

GingerGinger~~Enchanting Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15930442106195929472noreply@blogger.com
